My name is Elyssa, I like to draw things.
Yeah.
I like lobsters and wolves and things that are not butterflies. My favorite artists are Tim Burton, Salvador Dahli, Lilylanturn11, Diane Arbus, alexiuss, Berkozturk, and Gaston Vinas. I really like music by Radiohead, My Chemical Romance, and Gorillaz. If you like any of those three you are instantly my best friend. I have a habit of beginning a drawing project but then getting an idea for a new project and leaving the old one unfinished and starting the new one. I tend to think about the unidentified John and Jane Does from time to time. I wonder if they had families or friends or a dog or if anyone else even knew they existed. I guess if they did, then no one will ever know what happened to them. It must be lonely down underground. I bet they must feel very sad that no one came to say goodbye or leave flowers.

I like art, but it makes me sad too. It causes me to move farther away from people and live in my own little world. They say I should cut back on drawing because it's making me drift farther. I can't though. It keeps me from loosing it. Then again at the same time the more I let myself get pulled in, the more I start to believe things that aren't real.
It's getting worse. I at least can see that. People don't make me happy anymore. I have happy moments but nothing really makes me feel good. I guess I use art to distract myself from the outside world. I like how it gives me the option of doing what ever I want and having no limits
